I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, on the Saint Johns. Long days by the water taught me that nothing stays still. Light shifts, currents turn, and the calm before the storm and the sunshine can be experienced in the same day. I think that’s where my love for movement and colors began.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt the pull to make something, and I needed a way to get what I was feeling out. Art became that outlet. When I paint, I’m not planning a picture; I’m working through emotion in real time. Every layer, drip and gesture is part of the process. It’s the closest thing I know to therapy.

That’s what Love Without Fear means to me: creating openly, without holding back, and trusting that real feeling is worth sharing. My hope is that when you stand in front of a piece, you feel something too.
