Inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat. Thick, raw strokes of crimson on bright turquoise build a face: two staring eyes, heavy lips, and a row of jagged teeth rising from the bottom edge. When I look at it, I feel a kind of horror, but also a sense of completeness, like something that had to come out exactly this way.
