Different Worlds

My first commission, made for one of my bar guests as a gift for her husband's office.

Each section of the canvas is its own world: electric yellow, deep red, lime and forest green, hot pink, slate grey and sky blue, divided by bands of white and threaded together by poured black lines and splatter that cross every border. Words surface throughout: Trust, Love, Grace, Different Worlds, and LWOF, for Love Without Fear.

At the top sits a portrait of a beautiful Italian woman beside a printed quote about garbo, the Italian word for grace and quiet elegance. It's the thread that ties all the different worlds together.
